The tragedies surrounding the recent Asiana Airline crash landing
challenge hearts, souls and minds of many in the UCSF and surrounding
San Francisco Bay Area community. Embedded in day-to-day activity, we
often ask about what can be done. On Sunday, scholars, students will
gather together to write messages. We will share music, poetry,
prayer, and greetings from various traditions and languages. The event
will be videotaped and made into a virtual card that can be sent to
passengers on the flight and their families.
If you like to perform and speak at the event, or would like to to
contribute in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.
