Laboratory Research Position in Cardiovascular Regenerative Biology (UCSF, Mission Bay, San Francisco CA)

We are seeking a candidate with rodent microsurgery experience to join Dr. Huang’s laboratory at UCSF. The laboratory has a general interest in vertebrate organ development, regeneration and repair, and is currently focusing on heart regeneration using both zebrafish and mouse as models (http://www.cvri.ucsf.edu/CVRIDocuments/InvestigatorResources/Summaries/browserecord.php?-action=browse&-recid=122).

Strong preference will be given to candidates with expertise in mouse models of myocardial infarction and ischemic reperfusion, but we are willing to provide training if one has other rodent microsurgery experience.  

Successful candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary research program that interfaces developmental and stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and cardiovascular diseases.
