Dear All,

Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (ACSS) at UCSF and Chinese American BioPharmaceuticals Society (CABS, or SAPA-WEST) are thrilled to invite you to attend the 5th UCSF ACSS Biomedicine and Biotechnology Symposium(UABBS) which will take place from 10am-4pm On Saturday, December 8th, 2007 at Genentech Hall Auditorium, UCSF Mission Bay. The theme for UABBS2007 is “From bench to clinic” We cordially welcome Chinese Postdocs, Scientists, Research Associates, Ph. D students, faculties from bay Area’s Universities and biotech industries to join us. This event is limited to 150 participants. For registration, please click the link:

5th UCSF ACSS Biomedicine and Biotechnology Symposium

On behalf of Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (ACSS) at UCSF, we are organizing the 5th UCSF ACSS Biomedicine and Biotechnology Symposium. Chinese American BioPharmaceuticals Society (CABS, or SAPA-WEST) will be involved in this event as co-organizer. Many distinguished professors and leaders from UCSF, other institutions, and bio-entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay area are invited to the symposium. The seminars will be presented in Mandarin or English. They will talk about some of the most significant and recent scientific advances. The presentations will involve many interesting and hot topics in biomedicine and biotechnology research. We ?cordially welcome Chinese Postdocs, Scientists, Research Associates, Ph. D students, faculties from bay Area’s Universities and biotech industries to join us.

Today, there are more and more Chinese scientists and scholars doing exciting research work in academic institutes and industry laboratories. It is very helpful to provide academic conferences and seminars to this population in their own language and also help them improve academic social network. Our ACSS is dedicating its efforts and time to organize the 5th ACSS Biomedicine and Biotechnology Symposium. It will be one of the most exciting events at UCSF.

Apart for presentations, we also have reserved spaces for industry sponsors to contact their customers, provide technical support and show their products. It will be a helpful resource for job seeking and recruiting as well.
