Tenth CABS Annual Conference (you don't want to miss) 摘自 加州大学论坛旧版 (Universities in California Bulletin Board System) cbc 2008-06-10 22:02 Dear Friends, The 10th Annual Conference of the Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society (CABS) is to be held on June 21, Saturday, 2008 in Foster City. CABS is the largest association of Chinese people of or interested in biopharmaceutical profession in Bay Area. The theme of this conference will be “Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical World”. As CABS has successfully done many times in the past, the conference provides a forum for scientific and business professionals in the broad fields of life sciences to learn about new trends, exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and extend networking. We believe that many of you, after reviewing the attached agenda of the conference, would agree with us that this meeting is an opportunity that comes only once a year. However, you may find that registration for the conference is rather expensive for non-CABS member. One economic alternative is to join CBC (Chinese Biomedicine Club). The membership fee is only $10/year. CBC, a subsidiary of ACSS at UCSF, is a local networking group for Chinese people with biomedicine background or interest. CBC aims for connection building, career development and social life enrichment through various professional and social activities. Thanks to the diplomatic effect of Dr. Xiaodong Zhu, co-president of CBC, CBC and CABS have reached the agreement under which CBC members automatically enjoy all the benefits entitled by CABS members. In addition, we would like to coordinate the commute should you need a ride. To register for the CABS annual meeting and join CBC, please complete a survey by following the web link below. http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=ptYhCyoPtntX46dWwcJlUJg&email=true Thank you very much! Chinese Biomedicine Club For CBC members only: for those of you who are already CABS member, you will get a free 1 year renewal of your CABS membership.
